“Mick” is a picture book about a boy who is different because of his autism. With the help of this book, published by Geef me de 5, autism is explained in a simple and accessible way. My role as the illustrator was to keep the visuals as low-stimulus as possible, while still making the book appealing and relatable to the target audience.
